Expose methods to write time-series data points to the Analytics pipeline backed by InfluxDB.

analytics.writePoint(bucket: string, measurement: string, tags: string, fields: string, epochMilli: number)

Writes a single field data point to InfluxDB.

Added in version 2.1.0.

Arguments:

  • bucket – Target InfluxDB bucket where the point will be stored.

  • measurement – Measurement name associated with the time-series point.

  • tags – JSON string representing a map of tag keys and values to associate with the point.

  • fields – JSON string representing a map of field keys and values to store in the point.

  • epochMilli – Timestamp of the data point in epoch milliseconds.

Returns:

ExecutionResult indicating point insertion success or failure.
